As a co-founder, principal, and managing director of KMF Development, Mr. Kemper was responsible for the overall operations in finance, personnel, new business, professional services, and strategic alliances. Mr. Kemper also supervised all phases of project life cycles including strategy, requirements, design, development, and implementation. In his latest engagement as a venture capitalist, Mr. Kemper joined Valence Capital Management in New York to assist in sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth equity investments and leveraged acquisitions in media & technology companies. He is also actively involved with the Hispanic Alliance for Progress and is an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at George Mason University. Previously, Mr. Kemper was a founding member of Darby Technology Ventures (DTV), an international early stage venture fund focused on infrastructure services, applied software, and information technology in Latin America. Prior to DTV, Mr. Kemper served as the Financial Analyst responsible for all new models of the Explorer Vehicle Line within Ford Motor Company. He was closely involved in the conceptualization, design, and development of new vehicles with a particular focus on business analysis, supplier negotiation, product pricing, development procedures, and new markets. Previously, Mr. Kemper worked with Avalanche Systems, Inc. (now Razorfish, Inc.) to develop web-based software, communications, and commerce solutions for a variety of clients in both the financial services and entertainment industries.
